Psalm 68:11 KJVRaising Christian Authors Across Africa
Our continental mentorship initiative partners with Writers’ Groups, Life Coaches, Bible Colleges, Churches, and Ministries across Africa to raise a new generation of Christian authors who write with purpose, excellence, and Biblical conviction.
14-Week Guided Mentorship Journey
Each class brings together 10–15 writers for a guided mentorship journey. Sessions are held virtually once a week for 1.5 hours, with weekly assignments designed to help writers progressively develop their manuscripts — from concept to completion.
The program provides both beginner and advanced writing support, ensuring every participant receives personalised guidance at their level.
CLC Kenya Provides
- Nine weekly training modules for the Beginners Class covering foundations of Christian writing, structure, storytelling, and message development.
- Three weekly training modules for the Advanced Class focused on manuscript refinement, publishing readiness, and author branding.
- Peer review and external feedback platform during the transition week from beginner to advanced class.
- One-on-one mentorship: an exclusive one-hour session with Dr. Muthoni Omukhango, renowned Christian publisher and author.
- Dedicated facilitator for weekly virtual classes.
- Administrative assistant for backend and attendance support.
- Comprehensive final review report for each participant’s manuscript.
- Guidance toward publishing, including step-by-step preparation of the manuscript for submission.
Partner Provides
- Mobilisation of writers: gathering a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 Christian writers from your network.
- Administrative support: following up with participants, ensuring attendance, and coordinating communication.
- Venue support, where applicable, for groups wishing to gather physically while connecting virtually to the main class.
- Ongoing mentorship and encouragement for participants within your network to progress into publishing and book marketing through CLC Kenya’s ecosystem.
